The final verses of Chapter 2 in the book of Acts states that the early followers of Christ devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching and to regular fellowship, and in Chapter 2 verse 45 states that they sold their possessions and gave to any who were in need.
Our Acts 245 ministry is modeled on this principle, that we are called to give to those in need within our regular fellowship.
