A WORD FROM PASTOR JERRY, CAMPUS PASTOR

In the last few years, our Youth Ministry has gained momentum. Our Middle School and High School Youth are engaging in Worship, learning Bible verses, developing social skills in our church gatherings and youth events, and more importantly, learning how to apply God’s Word in today’s society.

Yearly, our Youth come back from Hume SoCal, a Christian summer camp, with their personal experiences that grow them closer to God. We are so thankful for all of the Youth Leaders for pouring into our Youth and we are excited about the direction the Youth Ministry will take in 2025!

YOUTH EVENTS

Our Youth events are opportunities for the Youth to gather and bond with their peers and our Youth Team. Events are scheduled monthly which range from “in church” activities to community volunteer opportunities to fun youth activities and adventures, including our annual Youth Summer Camp.

HUME CHRISTIAN SUMMER CAMP

Hume’s summer camp is designed to provide an  epic, high-energy, life-changing program for youth groups. They bring on dynamic speakers and  worship bands, campfires, and activities, as well as creative themes, stage theatrics, full-production films and innovative recreation. “Hume SoCal” is located in the mountains of San Bernardino in sunny Southern California with approximately 40 of our Middle School and High School students registered per year. Valley Youth has been going to Hume for the last 17 years and with each visit their experience has drawn them closer to the Lord resulting in a handful of campers being baptized upon their return.

EPIC NEW YEAR'S EVE LOCK-IN

Our annual Lock In allows the students to have a safe environment to celebrate the new year with their peers while creating bonds with each other and their Youth Leaders.  Friendly competitive games throughout the night create those opportunities to forge these relationships.  This is the heart of this event.  The rewards for the kids are far greater than the price you pay for this one night.

Welcome to Valley Youth!
Valley Youth is our Middle School and High School student ministry led by our volunteer leaders who love the Lord and want to have a Godly impact in your youth’s lives.  Valley Youth  is a safe place where your student can fellowship, ask questions and explore their faith. Our Valley Volunteer Leaders  go through a background check and a yearly Child Safety Course Overview. They, themselves, are students of the Word of God and are examples of Godly living to our youth.  At our student gatherings, your youth can expect an experience that is fun, active and engaging. We hope to create an environment where the students can discover their gifts and calling through discussions, challenges and Bible studies. They will learn relevant biblical teachings and topics on things students currently face in their home, at school and in their community.
If you are thinking of joining us for the first time, we would love to have you and your youth come  meet our Youth Directors who can answer some questions you might have and to “tour” the REC.
